“Seven Simple Steps to a More Fulfilling Life”
Michael Conrad Kelley, a local Denver author and telecommunications businessman, and Keith E. Renninson, former Certified Financial Planner and author, have teamed together through their company Twinkletopia, LLC to teach teens and adults how to better acquire happiness, increase confidence and allow abundance in their personal lives, at school or work. Your students, employees or members will laugh, possibly shed a tear or two and walk away with new ways to improve their lives, their health and their occupations.
Authors of the popular, creative parenting tool and children’s book “Zooch the Pooch, My Best Friend" Renninson & Kelley use their book and real life experiences to illustrate: "When you begin the journey to establish your personal life philosophy and achieve self-fulfillment you need to follow Seven Simple Steps:"
Step One: Find out what concepts and philosophies you have adopted so far.
Step Two: Understand what you don’t want by drawing strength from experiences in your life.
Step Three: List your specific wants both short and long term.
Step Four: Focus on deliberately creating the life you want.
Step Five: Intently adjust your outlook and your goals.
Step Six: Laughter and happiness are key to fulfillment.
Step Seven: Leniency and kindness with yourself are paramount, be patient with yourself and you will experience fulfillment in wonderful ways.
A little bit about Kelley & Renninson
For the past twelve years, Michael Kelley has been the Operations Manager for a major communications firm. Overall, he has worked in the wireless industry as a manager of sales and service for nineteen years. In December 2003, Kelley’s brother-in-law suddenly died from acute bacterial meningitis prompting Kelley to begin work on Zooch. A few months later, he asked neighbor/author Renninson to join him in the adventure. In July 2004, at the young age of 35, Kelley was diagnosed with a serious heart condition requiring surgery. Fortunately, his operation was a success, but in the process Mike found a new appreciation for life and it’s mysteries. Through years of men’s competitive fast-pitch softball Kelley had learned to train his mind and body to perform at a high level, that conditioning is probably what saved him. He and Renninson found they shared an interest in personal self-improvement, helping others through their life experiences, and a love of humor.
Keith Renninson's early journey through life had been one of failed marriages, and numerous businesses before settling into his 30+ years of success in his insurance and financial planning practice. Keith loves to trek in the mountains and foreign travel, so he combined the two during a trip to Nepal in 1995 when he became lost for seven days in the Himalayas near Kanchenjunga. He had traveled alone to that small Asian country to find himself and came away with much more than he expected and his life has never been quite the same. Through the 1990's with much self-examination, academic study, bicycle racing and mountain climbing, he too discovered a renewed zest of life, which included a love of metaphysics, philosophy, humor, and writing and speaking. As Keith says, "Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue...it's all in what you make of it."
