Renowned artist, Julia McClurg, was born in Manhattan, NY, grew up in Philadelphia, PA, and now resides in Denver, Colorado.  In the past 4 years, Julia has painted over 250 commissions in and around the Metro Denver area. Her work has been featured Denver’s upscale 5280 Magazine, displayed many shows, and featured on KMGH Channel 7 news. Her most recent accomplishments include a painting for Kristen Davis of "Sex in the City", and a show at the Huneck Gallery in Breckenridge running from December to early February 2006.  Julia’s artwork has become a favorite of local businesses, galleries and the press including the cover of “Dogs and Cats, Colorado Style”.
     Julia created all of the characters in Zooch the Pooch from the descriptions provided by the authors and the original manuscript.  Her brightly colored acrylic artwork certainly brought the dogs of Zooch to life, and gave them a special, adorable quality.  You can view Julia's work at her website: www.lulubellaart.com where she displays the portraits of animals she has painted for clients around the country.

Graphics Designer: Noorjahan Hasan, BFA and BA

Known as Nori, our graphics illustrator prepared a layout and design that made our book sparkle with little details and big.  In 2000, Nori graduated Suma Cum Laude at Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado and has received numerous awards for her designs and academic work.  She can speak fluently in five languages, and is highly effective in the major software programs of the graphic design industry.  Nori brought a high level of professionalism and artistry to the final preparations of Zooch.
